It should be mentioned that there are two kinds of sand storm on Tazoo, wet and dry. This is a wet one. The sand is moistened with dilute sulphuric acid condensed from the toxic atmosphere.

"OK, so if a wet sand storm is like a an accelerated metal descaling process, what's a dry one like?"

"Just pray you don't find out."

This is a dry sandstorm. A howling blizzard of sand so dry and so fast moving that a static charge differential is built up between sand and earth that causes lightning bolts to strike at random from a ceiling of only ten metres!
