Is that a ship's rail, or part of a distant sand bar or landscape feature.? Is that really the ocean?

Thanks for the link. This one's quite witty but I'm afraid I prefer the other one.

At this point, I'll dip in to.... Photoshop.
And slide down from the ceiling.
I think it will work.
Imagination is fun.
Thanks for inspiring it.

Just as an excecise, I tried typing 'Sexton Blake' into the dA search box. It's cockney rhyming slang for 'fake'. Apart from tributes to the early twentieth century pulp fiction detective [link] [Google search result] nearly everything else has been Photoshopped from contemporary digital photos [link] .

The fact that you are willing to accept it as a view is most encouraging. This is a Photoshopped, upsidedown sample from the front of an old Victorian woodworking shop, as used in The Charnel House [link] . The elements are old fashioned 'ripple glass', wood and painted rusty sheet metal. A certain amount of re-hueing and discreet texturising went into this, but surprisingly little considering the result.

thank you for describing process, imagery of this.. this would be also nice paper tapestry on the wall, but just one part of the wall.. one line from floor to ceiling..

That would look good... I don't have any real secrets, so I'm always glad to let people know how the work was done if they are interested. Photoshop may have a few unique effects but I suspect any other good photo editing suite could do the same or similar things..
