This is the last of this year's foliage on the Virginia creeper that grows on the south facing wall of a walled garden in Heathfield, Surrey. In fact, this is in the m7uch maligned Croydon. People think it's all shopping malls, tower blocks and 'sink estates', but it actually has more tree lined strreets and well planted parks and gardens then almost any other borough in Greater London and in Autmn it looks beautiful, especially on a sunny day. More of this walled garden and its sputhg facing wall can be seen here [link] . But there is a lot more than that in our gallery. This wall alone has been photographed hundreds of times and appears in scores of deviations.
